The first trip I took to Washington DC was a truly amazing experience. Although we all see the White House and other prominent locations in Washington DC every single day on television, there is a huge difference between seeing these locations on your television screen and standing in front of them and seeing them in person with your own two eyes.

Because there are so many amazing places to visit in Washington DC, as soon as I knew that I was definitely going to be making the trip there, I decided that I needed to get a rental car to make the most of my trip. I wanted to pack as much sightseeing as possible into my four days in Washington DC (I only slept for five to six hours every night that I was there), and I decided that getting a rental car would be the easiest way to ensure that I made it to all of the locations that I wanted to see. I was able to arrange for my car rental online, and when my plane arrived in Washington DC, my car was ready and I was able to start my sightseeing adventure right away.
